Thank you for visiting the website for the parish family of
Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church of Pendleton and Clarence Center, New
York! It is an honor and privilege to
serve as the Pastor of this merged parish that began in 2009. We profess a strong belief in the Word of
God, the presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and a loyalty to the
Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
We are a parish that strives to live out the corporeal and spiritual
works of mercy.
Our roots of faith are solid and span many generations, over
160 years! Our fore-fathers, priests,
sisters and lay leaders collaboratively shared their resources of education and
spirituality to build up this community of faith. Built on solid ground this merged community
draws from past history and trusting in God’s providence reaches toward new
beginnings. Our story is one of faith
and trust in God. Together we will walk
this journey and pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide and direct
us! Physically and literally Saint John
Neumann and venerable Nelson Baker walked the grounds that we walk on
today! Their legacy is our legacy of
faith! We welcome you to journey with us
as a family of faith within the walls of the Universal Roman Catholic Church founded
by Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago!
Our website provides only a glimpse of who we are. Please join us for prayer at Mass and
consider becoming part of our parish family. |
