| Baptism |
| We acknowledge the blessing our parish receives when a baby is born into a parish family. Baptisms are celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month. Baptism is recommended within the first few months of the baby's birth. A Baptismal preparation class is given to the parents. Contact the rectory to arrange the class, there is no fee for this class. One Godparent is required, two are allowed but then they cannot be of the same sex. Each sponsor must provide a letter of recommendation. |

| Reconciliation |
| Every Saturday 3:00 pm to 4:10 at the Pendleton site, or by appointment. |
| First Reconciliation |
| First Reconciliation is typically celebrated during Grade 2 of religious education. If it is not already on file with the parish, parents must provide the child's Baptismal Certificate. |

Eucharist/Holy Communion
|
| Available during mass to Catholics in good standing, see daily mass schedule. |
First Eucharist/First Holy Communion
|
| First Reconciliation is typically celebrated during Grade 2 of religious education. If it is not already on file with the parish, parents must provide the child's Baptismal Certificate. |

| Confirmation |
| Any baptized Catholic who has completed eight years of religious
education in either the parish program or a Catholic school is eligible
for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Each candidate is guided through the Confirmation program by a sponsor of their choosing.The sponsor must provide a letter of recommendation. Also, if it is not already on file with the parish, parents must provide the candidate's Baptismal Certificate. |

| Marriage |
| Arrangements must be made at least six months prior to the intended wedding date. Dates are reserved only for registered parishioners and must meet one on one with the pastor first. Attendance at Pre-Cana or an alternative is required. Marriages are celebrated on Fridays and Saturdays at 1:00 pm. See our Schedule of Fees for fees associated with weddings. |

|
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is an ongoing process. Adults wishing to join the Catholic Church should Contact the rectory. |

| Requirements for Sponsors |
|
One must be a baptized Catholic, confirmed and sixteen years of age. A
baptized Christian who is practicing his/her Christian non-Catholic faith
may act as a witness, not as a sponsor, as long as there is one
Catholic Sponsor. This non-Catholic witness may not be a former
Catholic. |

| Letters of Recommendation |
| A letter will be given to parishoners who are presently registered and actively participating their faith in our parish community. That is those who attend Mass regularly, have received the three Sacraments of Initiation; Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation; if married; are so in harmony with Church Law; if parents, are sending their children to Catholic School or Religious Education classes. |
